STREET FASHION: NEW YORK & LONDON FASHION WEEK INSPIRATIONS

With the New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week giving us Street Fashion goals for Spring 2018, we thought why not compile our favourite trends that you can wear for your next outing.

The Denim Lovers

Many were spotted wearing denim during both the fashion weeks. While some like Aemili Madden of WhoWhatWear and Brazilian blogger Helena Bordon chose to steal a fleece-lined version from the men’s wardrobe, others like model Daniela Kocianova stuck to the classic denim jacket paired with coordinates that made them look fun.

The Pink Ruffles

This look on Chrissy Rutherford reminded us of our Pink Ruffle Sleeves Sweater and we think it looks super relaxed yet stands out with the red pants that it’s paired up with.

The Power Blazer

A powerful blazer can instantly make you look in-charge and if paired right, it makes you look runway ready like with this look that we loved on New York-based fashion stylist and creative director Rachael Wang.

The Lace Dress

Naomie Harris was spotted in a Burberry lace dress that looked beautiful and elegant. Lace is something that isn’t going anywhere for a while, we can assume safely. So a lace dress is a piece you can imagine to be a wardrobe staple for a while that you could easily carry to a brunch date or even an office party.

The Quilted Jacket

Quilted jackets that fit like a dream paired with crop checked pants and a pop of colour with socks! We absolutely loved this look from the London Fashion Week. Our own Blue Quilted Jacket seemed to look great when we paired it with our white pants from the Shapeshifter Collection and the Grey Ruffle Blouse.

The Off-Shoulder Shirt

A classic button-down with an off-shoulder twist? We’ll take it! Especially how it looks on Abigail Gurney-Read, Managing Editor of Because Magazine. We love how she paired hers with the leather overalls for an absolute casual twist to an otherwise elegant look.
